Three tiers, three billing modes
Standard, Premium, VIP. Each tier sells in three billing forms simultaneously — monthly, yearly, lifetime — so you pick the commitment level that fits your workshop.
- Standard · Workshop — small shops + DIY enthusiasts. Stage 1 access + basic tooling.
- Premium · Pro tuner — independent professional tuners. Stage 1+2, full editor, predicted dyno, branded PDF.
- VIP · Pro shop — multi-tuner workshops + integrators. Stage 2+, multi-seat, white-label, API write.
How billing works
Checkout happens on tuning-database.co.uk via WooCommerce. Once your order completes, our plugin notifies INSTATuner via a signed webhook — your account flips to the matching tier within seconds. Payment gateways supported are whatever WooCommerce supports today (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
Subscription state machine
Your account moves through these states:
- active — full tier features, downloads, editor.
- past_due — renewal payment failed. Read-only access for 7 days while we retry.
- grace — 7-day reprieve after a hard fail. Banner asks you to update payment.
- suspended — grace expired. Login still works; downloads + editor blocked until you reactivate.
- cancelled — ends at the end of the current billing period. Data is preserved indefinitely so you can reactivate.
Cancellation
Cancel any time on tuning-database.co.uk → My Account. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — you keep access until that date. We never auto-charge after a cancellation.
