First sign-in

Use the same account you have on tuning-database.co.uk. INSTATuner does not maintain a separate password — sign-in goes through the upstream identity provider. There is no separate "register" flow here.

On your first sign-in from a new browser, we email you a confirmation link. Until you click it, sensitive actions (downloads, editor mutations) stay locked. The link expires in 15 minutes — sign in again to receive a fresh one.

Drop your first BIN

From the dashboard, drag your original ECU file into the drop zone or click to browse. Accepted formats: .bin, .ori, .hex, .frf, .sgo, .pak, .dat, .mod. Maximum 64 MB.

We hash the file locally, run an ECU identification pass, then race three lookups against the file library:

  • SHA-256 hash — exact match if your file is already in the library.
  • Hardware + software number — extracted from the binary header.
  • Free-text fallback — vehicle-name typeahead under the drop zone.

Read the result

A green card means we found a published Stage 1, 2 or 3 for your ECU. Click through to the file detail page — you'll see stock + tuned power figures from the Gains API and an animated dyno overlay.

An amber "no match yet" card means the binary is stored safely for review. As more TunerSuite installations sync files, the library grows daily — check back, or use the editor to map it manually.
